The City & County of Denver plans to sell 198 spaces in a parking garage in Cherry Creek North slated for redevelopment. The spaces are located in a garage that fronts on East 2nd Avenue between University Boulevard and Clayton Street. If approved by City Council, the spaces will be sold for $6 million to an affiliate of Oliver McMillan Company, which plans to redevelop almost two blocks of property, including the garage and an adjacent Whole Foods supermarket. The City & County bought the spaces for $4.7 million in 2003. The company has not filed specific plans yet for redevelopment.
