Unemployment rate improves for Denver metro area in December

The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment reports that the unemployment rate for the Denver metro area continued to improve in December.  Boasting a rate of 8.1% for the 10-county measure, which excludes Boulder, it is a 0.8% improvement from December 2010.  Additionally, the inclusion of Boulder County improves the measure to 7.9%.
